Description
The Remote Industrial Horn is a low-current, high decibel, vibrating horn for heavy-duty use. It is available in two models.
The indoor model comes in a heavy duty die-cast housing and is designed to channel the sound in a particular direction without decibel loss. Comes with a convenient adaptaplate mounting on any single gang box or 3-1/4", 3-1/2" or 4" octagon box or 4" square box. UL listed and FM approved.
The outdoor weatherproof model comes in a heavy duty die-cast weatherproof box and is UL listed to NEMA 4X enclosure requirements. Mounts on conduit or any flat surface using 3" (76.2 mm) diameter bolt circle. Drilled and taped 3/4", 14 NPT on top, knockouts are provided. May be used indoors or outdoors.
The volume is adjustable with an output range of 78 to 103 dB at 3 m (10 ft). Ideal for industrial, commercial and institutional applications for timing, paging and alarm signaling, including equipment malfunction alert and security warning.
The horn is easily connected to the relay of a cGas-SC Self Contained Controller, an FCS Controller or the RLY-4 or RLY-8 Remote Relay devices.
