Description

The QC-100 Bump Test System provides a quick and easy way of checking the performance of Ammonia, Hexane, Hydrogen Chloride or Toulene gas detectors. Utilizing revolutionary technology, this gas bump tester provides a stable, safe and reliable delivery method allowing ease of shipment, storage and use. The target gas is stored in a liquid form in a QuickCheck Vial (QCV) that is sealed in an inner ampoule. Breaking the inner ampoule allows the liquid to absorb into a filter which then diffuses out the gas.

The QC-100 uses two AA batteries to motorize a pump that provides continuous output of calibration gas. The needle valve allows users to adjust the amount of gas being generated to check the gas detection device for higher accuracy. Bump tests should be done monthly as needed or required by law. If the bump test fails, a full calibration should be done.
