The GENie Calibration Gas System is based on modules - Base Unit, GENIE-03, GENIE-NH3 and GENIE-EC. If you need to calibrate different types of gas, you need ONE base unit PLUS the appropriate module(s) and gas source(s) for the gases you are calibrating. For example if you have a base unit, you can attach a GENIE-O3 module to it to make Ozone gas, then remove that module and add another module such as the GENIE-NH3 and make Ammonia gas and then remove that module and attach a GENIE-EC module with a CL2 gas source and make Chlorine.
 
We offer the following complete system packages that include the base unit, gas generating module and gas source:
 
GENIE-O3-KT for calibrating Ozone
GENIE-CL2-KIT for calibrating Chlorine
GENIE-O3-CL2-KIT for calibration Ozone and Chlorine
GENIE-NH3-KIT for calibration Ammonia
 
You may build your own GENIE Calibration System by purchasing the Base Unit, one or more gas generating modules and the approriate gas source(s).
 
The GENIE-O3 module is used for calibrating Ozone only. It works with the same GENIE-BASE as the other modules.
 
The GENIE-NH3 module is used for calibrating Ammonia only. It works with the same GENIE-BASE as the other modules.
 
The GENIE-EC module is used for calibrating Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, Hydrogen, Hydrogen Sulphide and, Hydrogen Cyanide. Each gas source can be used with the same EC Module. It works with the same GENIE-BASE as the other modules.
 
To ensure proper operation and to maintain NIST certification, the Base Unit and all modules should be sent back to the factory annually or at 100 hours of operation (whichever comes first) for calibration and recertification. Gas source cells with more than 15 hours remaining should be returned for electrolyte regeneration.
