CETCI Expands Manufacturing Capabilities & Increases Productivity

Critical Environment Technologies Canada Inc. (CETCI) has doubled its manufacturing and office space to approximately 11,000 square feet as of December 1, 2010.

The service department and production department for portable IAQ instruments have moved into the new additional space. Meanwhile, production department for fixed gas detectors has utilized the space vacated by the portables and service departments in the current plant. Lean manufacturing process principles will continue to be executed as it is one of the basis of CETCI’s success.

The expansion has allowed CETCI to hire more staff in various departments to help increase overall productivity. Despite the recession, CETCI has steadily continued to grow and hire year after year. Just in the past four months alone, CETCI has hired five new employees to join their team. 2011 is no exception. CETCI plans to continue to hire more staff in the coming months to assist in the various departments, production specifically. This plant-wide expansion has and will create several new jobs locally.

With additional staff, CETCI will be able to ensure sustainable customer satisfaction by meeting their customer’s expectations in technology, innovation, support and service.

In addition to expanding plant facility, CETCI has undertaken some energy savings initiative that will reduce electricity consumption. All lighting fixtures and bulbs in all occupied spaces have been replaced with more energy efficient ones.

CETCI to Launch New Website

Critical Environment Technologies Canada Inc. (CETCI) is excited to announce its new and improved website, www.critical-environment.com, which is to be launched in late November 2010.

The new website will merge www.yestek.com with www.critical-environment.com. It will be dedicated to being a resource hub for their fixed gas detection systems and portable indoor air quality (IAQ) instrument product lines. With content rich product pages that include multiple product images, specifications (broken down into gas type, mechanical specifications, electrical specifications, environmental specifications, and certifications), technical library (with drawings, engineering specification samples, datasheets, and operation manuals), product code listing, and related accessory options.

The new website’s homepage features up to the minute twitter feed and “what’s new” either online or offline with CETCI. Get to know what’s happening and when it happens. Other ways to stay connected to CETCI is to follow their social media sites such as, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, CETCI Magazine blog, and RSS feed.

Additional features include distributor logins for exclusive promos, announcements and price list, drop down menu for easy website navigation, multiple contact forms for all your inquiry needs, and article postings. CETCI Appoints Mirza Baig as Western Regional Sales Manager for North America

Critical Environment Technologies Canada Inc. (CETCI), a leading global supplier of gas detection systems, including self-contained systems, controllers and transmitters, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) portable instruments, announced the appointment of Mr. Mirza Baig as the new Western Regional Sales Manager for North America.

Seven years ago, Baig started off as a Service Technician for CETCI. After two years, he moved onto becoming the IAQ Portable Product Specialist. Two years after that he was promoted to Sales Manager for Southeast Asia for all CETCI products. Now as Western Regional Sales Manager for North America, he will be responsible for sales of IAQ handheld portables and gas detection systems. With seven years of experience, Mirza will work closely with distribution partners in Western Canada and Western USA in their efforts to win, support, and maintain high quality installation contracts.
